Main Characters

 

Captain Rockhopper
Captain Rockhopper is the island’s most famous character. He is a pirate and he travels the oceans in his ship, the Migrator. When he returns from his voyages he docks his ship at the Beach and sells pirate items to the inhabitants of Club Penguin. There is always one non-member item, which is free and there are usually three other member items that you have to pay for. If you meet Rockhopper, you will recieve a free backgrond, which shows him in an autographed photograph. Rockhopper is a red penguin that has a black beard and a pirate hat.
Aunt Arctic
Aunt Arctic is the editor and advice collumnist for the Penguin Times. She answers up to two questions every week from other penguins. Aunt Arctic is green and she wears a pink toque. She also wears some glasses and carries a pencil, so she is ready to write articles all the time. Aunt Arctic has lots of puffles. Players can only meet Aunt Arctic in the first secret agent mission, in which two of her puffles go missing.
Gary the Gadget Guy
Gary the Gadget Guy (code name G) is Club Penguin’s resident scientist and inventor. He invents most of the machines and gadgets you see around the island. Some of his most famous inventions are the Jet Pack, the AC 3000, the Switch Box 3000 and the Electro-Magnet 3000. Gary works for the PSA and designs most of the gadgets they use. Gary is blue and he wears glasses and a white lab coat. He also wears a turquoise shirt and a brown tie. Gary is the owner of the Sport Shop and he has a room above it.
Herbert P. Bear
Herbert P. Bear is a Polar Bear who got fed up of the cold North Pole weather and hopped on an iceberg so he could float down to some warm habitat. However, his iceberg went the wrong way and he ended up in Club Penguin. He hated the fact that is was so cold in Club Penguin too, so he decided to try and spoil things for everyone. He has tried to steal the Gift Shop coins, caused an avalanche and he even tried to burn the Ski Lodge down. Herbert is still at large and he is no doubt thinking of some new scheme to ruin life on the island.

 

Other Characters

 

Bambadee
Bambadee is a light blue penguin that always wears his colourful friendship bracelet. People on Club Penguin used to tease him, so he hid on the Migrator in the hope of sneaking off at the next island Rockhopper came too. Rockhopper told him he would be his friend and brought him back to Club Penguin, where he found that the only reason he got bullied was because the other penguins were jealous of his bracelet and he made friends with everyone. You can get one of Bambadee’s friendship bracelets by reading Rockhopper and the Stowaway in the Book Room.
Franky
Franky is the guitarist for the Penguin Band. He is yellow and he joined the band in the Western Party of 2006. Franky was worried about his first show, but with the help of his bandmates he realised that all he needed to do was have a good time.
G-Billy
G-Billy is another member of the Penguin Band. He is dark blue and he plays the flute and the drums. G-Billy is friends with his bandmates, Franky, Stompin’ Bob and Petey K.
Stompin’ Bob
Stompin’ Bob is a red penguin that is a member of the Penguin Band. He plays the cello and can be seen strumming away with his bandmates Franky, Petey K and G-Billy at certain Club Penguin parties.
Petey K
Petey K is a green penguin that plays the accordian and the piano. He is a member of the Penguin Band. He can be seen at certain Club Penguin parties, playing with his bandmates Stompin’ Bob, Franky and G-Billy.
The Rookie
The Rookie is a member of the Penguin Secret Agency. On his first day on the job, he was put in charge of guarding the Gift Shop Vault after the coins dissapeared. He forgot the combination for the Vault and felt bad about it until he realised that everyone makes mistakes. He is a green penguin that wears a red propeller cap and a pair of red sunglasses.
Rory
Rory is an orange penguin that wears a construction jacket and a builder’s helmet. He can be seen in the seventh mission looking after the Clock Tower. That is all we know about Rory.
The Director of the PSA
The Director of the PSA is the leader of the PSA. It is not known what he looks like or even what his name is. The Director signs his secret messages with his symbol, which looks like an upsidedown L with a circle in it.

Puffles

Yarr
Yarr is a red puffle that is Rockhopper’s pet and first mate. He lives on the Migrator and helps Rockhopper run the ship. He was given the name Yarr because when Rockhopper said “Yarr!”, he got very excited. Yarr can be seen at the top of the mast on the Migrator.
The Keeper of the Boiler Room
The Keeper of the Boiler Room is the green puffle that bounces around on the speaker in the Night Club. He used to guard the Boiler Room, but he now just enjoys a dance at the Night Club.
“Ta-Da!”
“Ta-Da!” is the nickname I give to the yellow puffle that lives in the Stage. He takes part in each Stage play in a unique way. To see his act, just click the yellow lever on the Switch Box 3000. Like all yellow puffles, Ta-Da! is good at art. In Mission 7, he builds a new prime Gear for the Clock Tower out of snow.
“Sooty”
“Sooty” is the name I giive to the black puffle featured in Mission 2 and Mission 6. In Mission 2, he befriends you and helps you light a fire. In Mission 6, he helps you get into Herbert’s cave and then helps you escape when Hebert captures you.

Other Animals

Klutzy
Klutzy is a red crab that helps Herbert with his evil schemes. He saved Herbert when he fell off his iceberg. Klutzy is still at large and is probablly living with Herbert.
Fluffy
Fluffy is the little yellow fish that can be seen everywhere in CP. Penguins can fish for him in the mini game, Ice Fishing.
Mullet
Mullet is a big fat pink fish that can be caught in Ice Fishing
